Trip Options:

We offer three different trip options. Tailor your perfect Cape Cod fishing adventure for striped bass and bluefish! Choose from an engaging four, five, or six-hour extended day trip to explore some of our prime fishing locations. Each option provides ample time to target these exciting species and enjoy the thrill of the chase.

Group-Friendly Pricing:

Enjoy a private fishing experience! Our pricing covers the entire boat and captain for your group of up to six anglers. The Massachusetts saltwater fishing license and fishing gear are also included. This is a private trip for you and your guests, meaning you won’t share your fishing experience with anyone outside your party.

Tipping the Mate

Please note that it is customary to show your appreciation for our mate’s dedicated service with a 15-20% tip. The mate’s tip is not included in the rates shown above.

What to Bring on Your Janine B Fishing Charter:

To ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable fishing experience with us, we recommend bringing the following items:

Appropriate Clothing

  • Layers are key! Even on a sunny day, it can get cooler out on the water, especially in the early morning or late afternoon. Consider bringing a t-shirt, long-sleeved shirt, a light jacket or windbreaker, and perhaps a warmer fleece.
  • Waterproof or water-resistant outerwear: A light rain shower is always a possibility, so having a jacket and pants that can handle some moisture will keep you comfortable.
  • Hat: A wide-brimmed hat is excellent for sun protection, and a baseball cap can also be useful.

Sun Protection

  • Sunscreen: Even on cloudy days, UV rays can be strong on the water. Bring a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a high SPF and apply it liberally and often.
  • Sunglasses: Polarized sunglasses are highly recommended as they reduce glare from the water, making it easier to spot fish and protecting your eyes.
  • Lip Balm with SPF: Don’t forget to protect your lips from the sun!

Proper Footwear

  • Comfortable non-slip shoes: Sneakers or boat shoes with good traction are ideal. Please avoid wearing open-toed shoes like flip-flops or sandals, as well as dress shoes. Keep in mind, your footwear might get a little wet.

Food and Drinks

  • Water: Staying hydrated is crucial, especially during longer trips. Bring plenty of water.
  • Snacks or Lunch: Depending on the length of your charter, you may want to bring sandwiches, energy bars, fruit, or other snacks to keep you energized. We can discuss cooler space availability when you book.

Personal Items

  • Any necessary medications: Please ensure you have any personal medications you require.
  • Seasickness medication (if prone): If you are susceptible to motion sickness, it’s wise to take preventative medication as directed by your doctor before the trip.
  • Towel (optional, but can be useful): Especially on warmer days or if you anticipate getting a bit wet.
  • Camera or phone (optional): While we’ll be taking photos, you’re welcome to bring your own to capture additional moments. Please be mindful of keeping electronic devices protected from water.
  • Fishing Gear (Unless Otherwise Discussed):
    • We provide all the necessary rods, reels, and tackle for your charter. However, if you have a favorite lucky lure or a specific piece of gear you’re comfortable with, feel free to bring it along to discuss with the captain.
